Team USA came out today, in a game which most experts favored Finland, and dominated. Team USA won 6-1 over Finland and guaranteed that the USA will leave Vancouver with a medal. The only question that remains is whether the Men’s bracket will end with a Canada vs. USA rematch (as the woman’s bracket did) or if Slovakia can move into the final race for gold.
Teemu Selanne, the all-time Olympic goal leader, was blanked today, but Detroit Red Wing Brian Rafalski moved into place as this Olympics leading scorer.
Late tonight Canada and Slovakia will finish filling in the medal bracket.
