Brad May has been placed on waivers, the first of two rumored moves the Red Wings were planning on making to clear cap space for Andreas Lilja’s return.
The second part of that rumor is that Brett Lebda is up on the trading block. With the Olympic trade block descending fast, and Lilja’s conditioning stint running out, look for Lebda to be gone before Sunday.
