In the lowest scoring game of the Olympics yet, Slovakia upset the favored Russia.

Slovakia tied the game 1-1 on a goal by Marian Hossa after Russia had gotten a goal by Alexei Morozov.

This game changed the way a lot of metal round brackets looked. After last night, Team USA is the only team to have a full six points, followed by Canada with five and Russia with four. Depending on how Sweden does against Belarus and Finland against Germany tonight, Team USA could finish the preliminary round out in first place if they can beat Canada.
