TIGERS TO HONOR ALL-TIME SAVES LEADER IN PRE-GAME CEREMONY ON SATURDAYDETROIT – Tigers pitcher Todd Jones today announced his retirement after 16 seasons at the major league level, including eight with the Detroit Tigers.“This is the culmination of 35 years in baseball for me,” Jones said. “Detroit was a big part of my career and I’ll be a Tiger through and through. From the bottom of my heart, I can’t express what it was like to be a Tiger.”
