Chris Chelios has signed with the Atlanta Thrashers, the 48 year old Chelios is expected to stay with the AHL Chicago Wolves for the time being.
Chelios was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1981!
He has played in 44 games with his AHL team and scored five goals 16 assists for 21 points and is +35 this season.
So far Chelios has played in 1644 NHL games.
The 11 time All-Star breaks his 25 year Original Six stand by signing with the expansion Atlanta team.
