The Detroit Red Wings are ending a recent part of their schedule which saw them only playing four games in 14 days, but still the Wings are dealing with injury troubles.

Chris Osgood will make his second straight start due to an injury to Jimmy Howard.

Brian Rafalski, who was injured in the very early stages of this season, is now on short term IR to make cap room to bring up a replacement for Jimmy Howard. Howard will miss his second game tonight with a back injury. Jonathon Ericsson is still down with his back injury as well.

Kris Draper is also on IR after hernia surgery, meaning there are currently no members of the fabled grind line currently dressing for the Wings. With Justin Abdelkater returning to the lineup tonight from his injuries, one member of the team will be forced to step aside to make room.
