Detroit, MI…Detroit Red Wings Executive Vice President/General Manager Ken Holland today announced the signing of forward Brad May to a one-year contract. In keeping with club policy, additional terms were not available.
May, 37, was Buffalo’s first round selection (14th overall) in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in 1,001 career NHL games with Buffalo, Vancouver, Phoenix, Colorado, Anaheim and Toronto.
May has scored four goals and 11 assists for a total of 15 points in the last five years.
